30th Vehicle Donation in 9 years

Ron Lindholm turns over the van keys to Camp Ranger Tom Hamer.

Ten Mile River Scout Camp was the proud recipient of Combined Energy Service’s 30th vehicle donation in the past 9 years.

Making this Combined Energy Services’ 30th vehicle donation in the last 9 years, Ten Mile River Scout Camp is once again a proud recipient of one of used vans. “When a vehicle no longer serves our purposes, rather than trade it in, we donate it,” commented Mike Taylor, manager of CES. “You see our vehicles are well maintained by our staff and while they may have higher mileage, they still have a lot of life left.”

Pictured is CES’ Ron Lindholm handing the keys of this Wechsler Pool Supply service van over to Lou Farragher of Ten Mile River Boy Scout.

The historic Ten Mile River is a 12,000-acre Scout Reservation that is home to three traditional Scout summer camps and a Family Camp. Located in Sullivan County, near Monticello and Narrowsburg, it is operated year-round. Like many youth camps in the area recent world events have significantly impacted their operations.
