Combined Energy Services loves animals and we suppport a variety of animal rescue shelters throughout the Tri-State area. Pets Alive, located in Middletown, NY, serves both domestic and farm animals.
Combined Energy Services support a variety of animal rescue shelters across our service area. Beginning in 2020, we made the decision to donate propane to Middletown New York based Pets Alive. Their mission is to improve the lives of companion animals everywhere by any means possible, including rescue, adoption, advocacy, collaboration, intervention, and education.
This year’s donation of propane will help the 258 animals in their care can total up to $10,000 over the course of 2022. This donation allows them to spend their donations to provide care for all kinds of animal, including abused or neglected farm animals.
They are in the middle of a capital campaign to build an updated state-of-the-art facility. The project went to the town just as COVID struck and they are finally getting ready to break ground. The Pets Alive Community Resource and Adoption Center will offer all the latest technology in animal sheltering as well as human space for welcoming the community in for a wider range of services – dog training, TNR (Trap Neuter and Return) training, humane education classes as so much more. To follow the construction, please visit their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/PetsAlive.
Pets Alive offers many programs to assist the community with their animals and animal related issues and with their new building they will also be able to offer more. Their current programs include:
- Adoptions
- Community Outreach
- Humane Education Program

- TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) of community cats
