2019 PEACE LOVE RUN 5k – CES Donates to Allyson Whitney

AW 5K 2

The 2019 Allyson Whitney Run for Love 5k is the Foundation’s largest fundraiser, and this year it is the PEACE LOVE RUN even honoring the roots of our community with the Woodstock 50th celebration. Combined Energy Services is proud to have donated $5,000 to their cause!

Combined Energy Services Loves to Help AWF!!

The Allyson Whitney Foundation is a 503-C non-profit foundation that focuses on helping young adults with rare cancers.  The Foundation primarily provides you adult cancer patients with “Life Interrupted Grants™” to ease their financial burden, so that they can concentrate their energy on healing.

Their inspiration, Allyson Whitney Strong, ended her most difficult battle with Small Cell Cervical Cancer in 2011.  She was 25 years young.  She always dreamed of a day where she could help others in her situation; and in loving memory, this Foundation is her dream come true!

“Life Interrupted Grants™” are provided by the AWF to U.S. citizens between the ages of 16 and 26 years of age, who are currently undergoing treatment or recently finished protocol. Grants help cover unanticipated expenses including gas, tolls, transportation, hotels, rent and wigs. Learn more here.

How CES Helps?

This is the 8th year CES has donated to the Allyson Whitney Foundation. A portion of the sales from our specially branded Allyson Whitney Foundation propane truck gets donated to the Foundation. Combined Energy Services has known the Strong family for many years and stands behind the Foundation’s efforts, proud to be a sponsor and play a small part in their worthy mission.
