We are looking for a hardworking, safety-conscious Yard Person to join our team. You will be the face of our yard operations, responsible for draining returning propane tanks headed out for refurbishment, maintaining the facility, help to maintain remote propane storage depots in summer months. Year-round busy.
Key Responsibilities:
- 📦 Inventory: Safely pump-out tanks that return from the field, prep to be sent out for refurbishment
- 🧹 Maintenance: Keep the yard clean, organized, and free of hazards. Help maintain weed control at remote propane facilities in summer
- 🚚 Support: Help drivers prep their trucks for daily routes in the AM
- Snowplowing: Winter it’s all hands on deck, use loader to keep property clear
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs regularly
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
- Be able to safely operate rough terrain forklift (we’ll train!)
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Hours: 7 am – 3:30pm (1/2 hour lunch) Full time / year-round
- No experience? We will train the right person!
Bonus: Hoping to find the right person that we will help to obtain their CDL to help pickup & deliver trucks between branches, drive trucks to contracted repair shops, possibly deliver in winter when we’re busy. Get CDL = +$3 – 6 / hour differential
