Combined Energy Services – a family owned & operated propane gas, & service provider since 1968 is growing – seeks full time sales person to help us grow and take care of our customer base.
An HVAC Salesperson generates leads, conducts on-site or virtual assessments, designs customized heating and cooling systems, and closes sales for residential or commercial projects. They build client relationships, provide quotes/proposals, and often work directly with installation teams to ensure accurate, profitable, and high-quality system replacements.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Consultation: Meeting with clients to assess needs, inspect properties, and recommend proper equipment.
- Sales & Lead Generation: Prospecting new clients, conducting site visits, and selling HVAC products/services to meet company goals.
- Proposals & Quoting: Preparing detailed, accurate proposals, contracts, and job estimates.
- Relationship Management: Building lasting relationships with residential homeowners or commercial contractors.
- Technical Knowledge: Staying updated on industry trends, energy efficiency standards, and product lines. Work with manufacturers and supply houses for assistance on design & information updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in HVAC sales or industry-related technical roles a plus
- Communication: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Licensure: Valid driver’s license for traveling to customer sites.
Working Conditions
- Hours: Often includes evenings and weekends to accommodate homeowners.
- Environment: Frequent travel, including walking through residential, commercial, and sometimes unfinished spaces (attics, basements).
