Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow a checklist of inspection procedures.
- Test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions.
- Read and interpret diagnostic test results from diagnostic equipment.
- Raise trucks and heavy parts or equipment by using a hydraulic jack or hoist.
- Use a variety of power and machine tools.
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles.
- Do routine maintenance including but not limited to changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment.
- Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and attach system components.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts and other mechanical or electrical equipment.
- Be able to disassemble, work on and reassemble parts and machinery.
- Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety and combustion control standards.
- Maintains vehicle cleanliness.
- Attend meetings and schools/training as required.
- Adheres to Company policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor, manager or owner.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Clean and safe driving record.
- Able to pass Drug Test and Criminal Background Check.
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Must be available to work overtime when needed.
Wage Range: $22 – $29 per hour
