The propane business is a little confusing, because there are so many providers and you never know who to choose. I recommend CES. One big reason: They have great customer service — folks like Bernadette excel at actually listening to and having a conversation with customers. (Good customer service is increasingly hard to find anywhere anymore.) CES offers reliable service both for routine fuel deliveries and for hardware, like helping us maintain our propane fireplaces. They also installed the propane system for our Generac and did a great job at it. Overall, I recommend them.

Our propane Gas heater in our kitchen was not working and it’s really cold weather. We called for service and they were responsive very fast! Today is Monday the 26th it is the day after the biggest snowstorm in years and Joe the fuel oil driver back in my driveway with no problems and we did not have time to shovel a path to our fill pipe, he walked through about 1 1/2 feet snow to deliver our oil to make sure we are warm. I’ve been a customer since 2013 and they have never let me down. As my energy needs change from time to time, they always work it out with me. They stay current with available technology, such as remote monitoring, to give clients peace of mind. My 500 gallon tank was switched out today and the guys did a great job. They even stayed to inspect my boiler and other gas appliances to make sure everything worked and that my property was safe. They changed the pressure reducer and anything else that looked old. Chris, Tom V and Maela are a great team and I will remain a customer as long as I live out there.

I have been a satisfied customer of Combined Energy Services for several years. I recently saw an unexpected charge on my propane invoice and left a message after hours with CES. I received a call back first thing in the morning from the manager, apologizing for the charge and it was removed from my account. Propane may be a commodity, but customer service isn’t. A few days prior to Christmas this year I became concerned that my propane level was going down because of the substantially increased usage that i was needing( guests were over and had to use a second furnace) . In light of there being no deliveries on Christmas and the upcoming storm i was concerned that a delivery would not be made until the following Monday where the propane level, in my mind, wouldbe at risk of freezing. I spoke with Bernadette Guba and she calmed me down (lol) but more importantly she worked with Bryan, the company’s dispatcher, and I received the delivery of propane the day after Christmas. Im forever grateful for their help. As can be seen from my experience, Combined Energy is a great company to work with

November 2025. Wayne came out today to clean and service my gas fireplace and my furnace. The pilot light went out on the the gas logs and he showed me how to light it. Then he cleaned the fireplace and logs. Then he went in the crawl space and took care of the furnace. Both in under an hour! All clear for a warm winter in our home in Bethel!

I’d like to compliment Sherry at CES on her wonderful work with helping me setup with my propane needs this upcoming winter. It was straight forward, easy and the set up crew that put in my new tanks were quick, on time and very helpful. Wonderful experience switching over my heating system. They were quick, easy and the process went smoothly and effortlessly. Sherri did a great job explaining all and answering all my questions. Everything was clear and concise. No complaints. I would definitely recommend them.

Indrit came out this morning to deliver propane. Since we were worried about a leak, he took the time to test for one while answering my brother’s questions. When he found one he took the time to remedy it and explained how my brother could test it himself monthly. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Later this afternoon Chris C showed up stating they had noticed an issue with our sensor, that the connection was intermittent and he replaced it. All the while, just like Indrit, he explained everything to my brother so we understood what was going on and answered every question. He also was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! You have first class excellent employees! Highly recommend CES for all your energy needs.

CES is absolutely the BEST! They were extremely responsive and professional since the moment we called (after learning that Paraco Gas couldn’t service our home for over 3 weeks at the end of the month) Spoke with Jay and had a new gas tank delivered by Nick the next day, who made sure everything was working great. Ruben inspected and unclogged our oil tank, while inspecting our boiler and hot water heater. These guys don’t try to oversell—they want to provide excellent service with a local, human touch. I highly recommend CES (Kerhonkson Office) for any of your oil, gas and propane needs!

As recent transplants from across the country, we have been so thankful for the guidance of the whole CES team. Brian in sales came out and walked us through what we would need in propane for our property. Malcolm and Mike did the install today of the tank and did an amazing job, all while answering our fish out of water questions. I was completely out of propane and calling on a Friday morning. I was not sure if I was going to be able to get it before the weekend or not and with seven kids that’s a scary thought but they were able to come out and the driver Rich that came out was absolutely amazing. I recently upgraded some appliances and the technician referred me to CES for a propane supplier. I first called Jay H from the kerhonkson location. He responded back to my message quickly and gave me a proposal to address All my questions and concerns. I was surprised that an opening was created so quickly and I received same day installation when many companies told me I would have to wait 2 to 4 weeks. Later that afternoon Greg and Malcolm also from the Kerhonkson location, came and installed two propane tanks and ran all the lines spell maintain a friendly and professional attitude. So far I am very pleased with the entire Kerhonkson team

They have always been there for us, whether it’s timely winter propane deliveries, repairing a standing gas stove or installing a new gas cooktop or clothes dryer. Marla is a terrific customer representative, and the staff including Jim, Chris, the two Toms and others are knowledgable, creative problem solvers. I had been a customer of Freedom Propane, a family owned business for 16 years. I received a letter in Oct 2024 stating they were retiring and another family owned business would be taken over, Combined Energy Services. I am one who does not like change since I was so familiar with Freedom and now I have to “deal” with another company. I just recently called CES with some questions and the representative that answered the phone was Viv. She was so kind and helpful. She explained everything so thoroughly and with ease. She also helped me set up my online account which was very helpful. Viv is definitely an asset to the company and she made my transition seem so easy.

Came home the other day to Jason F. making a delivery to my house. As I pulled up he was removing my garbage cans from the roadway that the garbage trucks threw there. Anyone else would have probably ran them over or left them. Jason took the time to remove them, which he didn’t have to do. Thank you Jason

Amazing service in a time of need. Our oil furnace died and we needed a new furnace. We decided on propane, as we had a tank from Region Propane that was too small to feed our new furnace. A VERY nasty woman at Region told us that they can do a site survey in 45 days!! I called CES and Sherri not only realized our immediate need, she was at our home within 2 hours. She ordered two 100gallon tanks that were delivered the next day and helped us to have heat once again (after not having it for 12 days!). Then when Eddie and Rob P delivered the tanks, the furnace installers were not yet ready to hook it up. So, they told us that they would return later in the day to connect the tanks. They came back and even the furnace installers commented on how nice and professional they were and how willing they were to go out of their way to help a customer who was in need. I will ALWAYS use CES and am happy to tell anybody about our amazing experience with them!!! Bravo to Sherri, Eddie, and Rob P!!

I save a lot of money by switching to combined, and they are so quick and helpful with deliveries and everything. The gauge was hard for me to read, so they put a clearer gauge on that went up to 100 instead of stopping at 80 even tho they didn’t have to so that I wouldn’t get confused by the number thinking my tank wasn’t full. I know this sounds silly, but they were very patient. I apologize for getting upset. Moose is the best, and I’ve never met anyone so intentive in their business he’s amazing and we’re so lucky here in Monticello to have combined energy bc we were getting really over charged by the other companies, combined saves me $100s on every single delivery compared to what I was paying before at 2 different companies who were price gauging
