Pike County Humane Society Benefits from a Heating Oil Donation
This year has been a tough year on countless non-profits. Many funding raising events had to be canceled or re-worked, leaving a large number of organizations in financial hardship.
Combined Energy Services tries to do its part by supporting the organizations that care for animals. Over the years, we have donated heating oil and retired service vehicles to the Pike County Humane Society (PCHS). This year is no different. We are please to donate $3,000 in fuel oil.
The symbolic check for $3,000 was presented to Executive Director Barry Heim by the CES Dingmans crew – Dan, Jim, Marla, Tracy, Ed & Chris stand in front of our oil delivery truck with two pups. The camera shy German Sheppard is available for adoption.
The PCHS provides shelter, food, care and medical treament for lost, abandoned, abused and unwanted animals. They also prevent cruelty to animals by educating people in the humane treatment of all animals and teaching about the responsibility of pet ownership.
There are many ways you can give to the Pike County Humane Society. Donate a special skill! They have tons of ongoing projects and programs that can use volunteers.
