We are currently seeking a full-time Apprentice Propane Technician / Yard Hand to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with advancement opportunities and competitive pay. While prior experience in propane, HVAC, or mechanical work is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with propane service, installations, and field work
- Run gas lines and assist with tank sets and new installations in accordance with federal, state, and local codes
- Troubleshoot propane-powered equipment such as furnaces, boilers, water heaters, fireplaces, and gas stoves
- Perform yard duties including:
- Staging cylinders for delivery
- Filling propane cylinders
- Light inventory tasks
- Notify supervisors of any safety, productivity, or customer service concerns
Qualifications:
- Dependable and safety-minded
- Strong communication skills
- Enjoys working with customers and team members
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Willing to take on new challenges and learn
- Maintains a professional appearance and strong customer service standards
- Ability to lift and pull equipment weighing 75 lbs or more
