Pink Trucks & Big Checks – CES Donates for Breast Cancer Awareness
Combined Energy Services is at it again! We are proud to be a sponsor of Catskill Regional Medical Center’s Women’s Health and Oncology Unit in their efforts to raise awareness of breast cancer prevention and treatment.
Each year, we make a donation to CRMC to treat cancer patients through their state of the art Oncology Unit in Harris, NY. On October 29, 2015 we did it again by making a $4,000 donation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.
“Combined Energy Services is a great partner and asset in our fight against breast cancer. This donation will ensure these services thrive well into the future, providing Sullivan County with excellent health care for generations to come.” Gerard Galarneau, MD, CEO & CMO of Catskill Regional said in a statement regarding the donation.
A supporter of breast cancer awareness for many years, in 2009 Combined Energy Services made the decision to aim their efforts towards local resources to ensure the community they live and work in would directly benefit from their donations. Catskill Regional Medical Center was an obvious choice and to date, we are proud to say, CRMC has received $22,000 from our efforts!
In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness month, in October we donated 1 cent from every gallon that was delivered by our “Pink” delivery truck. Our Pink delivery truck is certainly an attention grabber… And that’s the point! We want to assist in awareness for screening, research and treatment. If this campaign sparks one person to get a mammogram and it saves their life, it’s all worth it!
The CRMC Women’s Health Center offers services to women of all ages, including gynelogical exams, mammography, ultrasound, bone densitometry and obstetrical care. Digital mammography services are offered at CRMC’s Grover M. Hermann Hospital as well as at the Catskill Regional Diagnostic Imaging Center, 60 Jefferson Street in Monticello. A member of the Greater Hudson Valley Health Care Systems, CRMC is dedicated to providing the highest quality health care to residents of Sullivan County.
