Propane BBQ Grill Tank Exchange Cages – Convenience vs Rip-Off
Did you know that those convenient propane gas BBQ cylinder exchange cages outside so many stores today actually fill your cylinder to 75% of it’s capacity? Similar to half filling a potato chip bag, the contents label on the outside of that pre-filled cylinder will have in very small print “15 lbs net” meaning – you don’t get that full 20 lbs of gas you think you’re getting. You lose even more money if you swap that cylinder in before it’s totally empty, giving gas back to that vendor. No good all the way around.
The way to make sure you’re getting a FULL FILL is to get that grill tank refilled at one of the convenient CES fill centers around the region.
